Caribbean Sun Airlines and Caribbean Star Airlines enhance customer care |
ST. JOHN'S, ANTIGUA In a strategic move to better serve French- and Spanish-speaking customers, Caribbean Star Airlines and Caribbean Sun Airlines have outsourced their reservation functions to PRC. The phased initiative launches 23 January for Spanish-speaking customers, with the remainder of the Caribbean-based passenger segments transitioning throughout early February.
"We chose PRC to handle this critical component of our airlines' operation," said Caribbean Star and Caribbean Sun President and CEO William E. "Skip" Barnette, "because their professional standards and people-to-people approach embody the personalized customer care that is the goal of our airlines. Further, PRC's technical capabilities enable us to better communicate with our passengers and monitor their needs."
Caribbean Sun and Caribbean Star will be actively engaged in the training of PRC personnel to ensure that PRC customer care consultants are fully versed in the airlines' customer care mandates.
"We look forward to working with Caribbean Sun and Caribbean Star," said PRC CEO John G. Hall. "Both airlines are committed to delivering the best flight experience, from reservation to return, for each passenger, and we believe PRC's extensive experience within this industry and our ability to seamlessly communicate in a cultural context, including multilingual capabilities, will add value and convenience to their passengers' experience."
The customer care centre will be operational 6 a.m.-9 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The telephone number for local calls within the Dominican Republic is 809-200-8999 (operational 23 January).
