PRC Community Care

Since the Company was established in 1982, the spirit of Corporate Citizenry has been strong at PRC. The Company has always demonstrated a deep and enduring commitment to a wide variety of philanthropic causes and activities in locations where it does business and where employees live and work.

In 2005, PRC decided to upgrade its community outreach program with a new name, PRC Community Care. This group has developed a greater vision as to how PRC can better support the local communities where PRC centers are located.

PRC Community Care giving is primarily comprised of giving campaigns that are supported by the employees. Through fun activities like car washes, ‘dollar for jeans’ day, and PRC sponsored raffles, PRC team members find that doing good for the community actually makes for a fun work environment!

Since PRC Community Care’s inception in 2005, PRC donated over $250,000 to local communities. The following are some of the highlights of the group’s giving:

  • Over $40,000 donated to the International & American Red Cross organizations.
  • 20 tons of non-perishable food donated to the local food banks.
  • Scores of PRC team members became buddies and huggers at the South Florida Special Olympics.
  • Hundreds of care packages were assembled and shipped to military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan.
  • Thousands of toys collected during the annual Community Care Holiday Toy Drive were distributed to needy children.

In addition to the many group efforts, PRC management believes strongly in leadership commitment to local charities. Below are some examples:
